Grand'Place Brussels

Today Ray, Susan, Paul and I went to Grand'Place. People everywhere. Lace shops, tapestry shops, chocolatries and restaurants are too numerous to count. The streets are lines with cobblestones. Every you look you see amazing architecture.
We ate lunch at Le Roy (The King) the atmosphere was medieval. A very old, old building with gorgeous woodwork. I had a Croque Hawaien--a ham and cheese sandwich with pineapple. Mounds of carrots, cabbage and lettuce. That and a biere sampler.

This little fella is the Manneken Pis, he draws quite a crowd. A nearby museum houses dozens of outfits for him....including an Elvis jumpsuit and pompidor wig.

Time for a break, a lait russe and a piece of chocolate, or stick your face in a fountain......

Susan and I went to check out this charming shoppe with dozens of marionettes. I got reprimanded for taking a picture, so of course I had to post it ;p
I'm pooped and ready for a break.
